nwave close down
We regret to announce the closure of Northwave Gaming Association. After two years of winning, losing and struggling, the decision did not come easy but seems like the only wise thing to do. The decision is based on lack of motivation, time and money from the management.
Statement by Martin “Tjet” Bergman, nwave head manager
“This should be my final statement working with nwave. I have been running this organisation, more or less by myself, since the summer of 2008. With the lack of sponsons and money, motivation starts to tear me down, and if I’m not motivated, I’m not doing a very good job. At the same time I find myself having less and less time over to spend on eSport and my teams.
I would personally want to thank ALL teams, both past and present, who represented us in some way. It’s been a fun ride, but everything has and end. A special shout out to our TF2 team who have been part of nwave for 10 long successful months. It was very fun to get to know you and I will follow your progress in the scene.
I will personally retire from gaming management but will remain interested in eSport and the gaming scenes.
Well met!
Tjet”
With that said, we would like to thank everyone who worked, believed and supported our organisation over the years, and best of luck to our leaving teams. A final shout out to n1ping.com gameservers who been our sponsor for a good long time. Without their support we would have come nowhere.

nwave without CSS team
As the title says – we are without a Counter-Strike: Source team, since our finnish team decided to move on to another organisation. Under our flag, the team managed to claim a third place at the local LanTrek LAN in Finland earlier this year. We’d like to wish the team good luck in their new organisation, and hope they get the support they believe they deserve.
nwave.CSS was
Miska “PIKSELI“ Jokikokko
Arttu “ADELAIS” Nikkilä
Henri “Hene” Mattanen
Eetu “ZMep” Eskelin
Eetu “Ese” Palmroos
If or when we will support CSS again in the future is not yet decided.

nwave.CSS bring in fresh blood
Our finnish Counter-Strike: Source team have let to announce a line-up change. Janne “haBu” Kinnunen will be moving out to army duty soon, hence the team needed to fill his shoes. Taking his places does
Eetu “Ese” Palmroos, last seen in Team GameFrame.
At the moment nwave.CSS is participating in ESL: EMS VI Finnish Qualifier, playing against
BOOGIE? tonight. We’d like to wish Ese and the team good luck in the upcoming future.
