Northwave Gaming Association, popularly known as nwave, was created in the summer of 2008 as a gaming organisation with the aim to support computer gaming and electronic sports (e-sports) in Scandinavia. The founder-owner Martin Bergman decided he would form an organisation to boost e-sports within the Scandinavian community. The idea behind Northwave is to have several gaming teams represent us in different games, competing at the highest level of European e-sports.
THE MANAGEMENT
The management of Northwave consists of a group of dedicated and gaming experienced people with a passion for e-sports and its most popular games.
MARTIN BERGMAN (martin@n-wave.org)
Martin, 24 years old from Sweden, is the founder and owner of Northwave and has extensive background in computer gaming and management. In 2008 he withdrew from active gaming to focus on management. With his background, knowledge and experience he is the perfect figure to head up an e-sports organisation.
SEBASTIAN BRUHN (sb@n-wave.org)
Sebastian is 26 years old and currently residing in Sweden. He has a successful record from his active gaming career and has been working as general manager in Northwave since the summer of 2009.
WILLIAM JANSSON (william@n-wave.org)
Last but by no means least, another part of our management team is 18 year old William from Sweden. He comes from a background of active gaming and has been working with Northwave about a year as general manager and factotum. He is also a successful news writer on Sweden’s most popular Counter-Strike website: Fragbite.
