Our first addition to the nwave.QL duel team is Johan “stickan” Poulsen, a talented young swede with ambitions to become the best withing the swedish scene. He is set to attend the upcoming Quake Live event at Dreamhack Summer later this year.

More players will eventually be added into the duel team, so stay tuned on this topic.

It is always fun to pickup new games, and Quake Live is certainly one of the best upcoming eSports games on the market. We are very eager to see what damage stickan can make behind our tag, and we will make sure to build up a strong QL team for the future.

We will only consider apply’s that meet our requirements:
- You/your team need to be from either Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland.
- You are able to attend in atleast one upcoming local LAN event/several online leagues.
- Mature, preferably above 18 years old.
- Atleast some notable results, we are obviously looking for good teams.

“We had to change our lineup due of the atmosphere of the team, like on ventrilo etc.. We felt that removing Hellbabz and Mikkel would change that. We found hrtles and sukram and we mixed up the roles and it suits us very well. Way better teamspirit and communcation since we go from english speaking to swedish/norwegian and that helps alot. The future looks bright and shiny for us and i hope we will see u all on summerlans or online :)”

“Hey, For a start, I’m really looking forward to play with northwave, and i think i finally found a team that can actually play together really well, understands each other I’d like to thank kummeh,dubz and Antz for this greate opportunity, I hope things really work out.

“Finally i found my self a stabel home nwave im realy glad that they gave me this chance to play for them and i hope that i can fill the gap from antz who is stepping down from scope and picking the assult up. After a few matches against top teams i really feel this is going to work out fine.“

Mavve comes most recently from ETA who played in division 2 in ETF2L last season. His experience and game sense are a very welcome addition to the team and it will be fun to watch him play in the upcoming season.

Asked about his feelings on joining the team Mavve said:

I saw nwave looking for a soldier and felt it was the right team to join and i feel i have alot of experience to add to the team from four seasons in etf2l.

But have no fear, the remaining two spots will be filled with players ready to battle for a spot in Division 1. We are very excited about the future of our TF2 team. Expect an update on this topic very soon.

Last season nwave.TF2 finished second in Division 3, giving them a place in the play-off towards Div 2. The play-off match was played a couple of days ago, in what could be the most exciting match in our history. Unfortunately after 2 golden cap loses, the opponent walked out as winners. Despite this, the admins of ETF2L see the teams potential and have awarded them with a place in Div 2.

A huge congrats to the team, they really deserve it.
